if u can get a matrix at 700 quid fu*k a cocker the matrix is the only marker that can put 15 bps one on top of the other it is seriously **** hot bit ugly and doesnt make that cool clacky sound of a cocker but the matrix is truely a great marker

go here this is the best site for comparing gun prices cuase most of the time they are the lowes here. Or you can go to Paintball Watch which is kinda like priceline. I would go for a cocker but if you want and electro go with an Impulse on the low end ($400 new) or a Matrix a little higher up for $670 new. The nice thing about the impulse is that you can run it off of Co2 just fine until you get a nitro tank. The nice thing about the Matrix is, well its a damn fine gun, plus it comes with a CP barrel stock so you wont need to upgrade that.

Oh yeah, I am across the pond from you picaxe so all the prices are American $ and the shipping will probably be pretty high if they'll ship it all the way, but $670 for a new Matrix is pretty ncie considering the exchange rate you guys enjoy.

MATRIX= a nice gun for the money if you are trying to achieve angel type styling and quickness.....however be aware of the additional costs of the gun like the nitro tank it requires....and the revo hopper you have to have.......your gonna spend over a grand getting the proper set up for this marker.

COCKER= very nice gun and shoots well but another expensive marker.....no one is ever satisfied with a stock cocker.......andif you do not know what you are doing with one then you also have to have someone work on them because when they are ne w they can be vary tempermental

MAGS= good for nothing....maybe a paperweight.......speaking from personal exp.

BUSHMASTER= it should be called the bushdisaster..........what a mess......do not buy.

do not make the mistake of having a champaigne appetitte on a beer budget. I play with alot of people that use the compact spyder and have no probs. with them and i am purchasing 2 of them for my sons. you may wanna consider taking it to a paintball shop and having a tech look at it, it may be an easy fix for them and save you alot of money. the thing i would suggest is to put in a venturie bolt, expansion chamber (4 or 6 stage) and new barrel (dye is the best in my opinion) and i think you have a great marker!
