My board gives me free shots.

What s the matter with my angel. I often have free shot, i mean it is on b mode (true auto) and it often shoots like a turbo board, one shot on the press of the trigger and one on the release. It don t do this all the time. But we lost a tourny because i got points took off for illegal firing mode. Is there something i can do or should i just send the whole thing to WDP.

Your trigger pull is too short..you are getting switch bounce, if, and it is a pretty big if, your trigger pull is "normal" you have something wrong inside or at the very least the trigger return springs are damaged in some way. All electro's if set with a short trigger pull will bounce as you described its just that after a lot of publicity on here and other forums the judges have finally started to look for it and unfortunately finding it where in some cases it isn't user interference that has caused the "fault" (this could start something again) if you play enough with an electric switch (cos that is what the trigger on an Angel or any other electro is) you will be able to get the switch to misbehave, its just a case of wether or not you have the "touch". Easiest way to avoid it is to have the trigger pull NOT insanely short. All of the Angels found this way lately have all had stupidly short trigger pulls.

Sorry about the little rant but fiddling with markers tends to throw up things like you have described, just cos Player X can chuck 4 balls to your 2 doesn't mean you have to try and compete, with the result being your team lose points.

WDP would be your last port of call if you try to fix it as I have suggested above, but then you surely have an Angel Tech closer than here in England?

Thanks Mark

But i have already tried this. I spent about an hour working on that trigger, but even when i release the trigger slowly it shoots twice. The micro switch is ok. When the gun is off you hear only one click all the time but when i turn it on, with no air, you can hear the selenoid clicking once or twice every trigger pull.

Releasing slowly is half the problem thats how you get a bounce...with a long trigger pull it is more difficult to do (strong return spring aswell), but get an Angel Tech to look at it cos the micro switch could be faulty but as it is a sealed unit just cos you hear one click don't mean squat, if the contact is corroded it can arc (you can't see inside) if the contact is bent or out of true again you wouldn't be able to tell. the chances of the board circuitry be screwed is not likely but again get a trained tech to check it all out.
