The stock inline reg is adjustable. You need to unscrew the bottom half, and there should be a small fitting that either goes up or down. It will adjust your output pressure.

My old cocker had loctite on small brass nuts which helped keep the hose in place. I'm not sure how shocktech works.

Right,

I too am under the impression that you screw the rock out to turn it down. so unscrew it ALL the way out and try SLOWLY turning it up. once the pressure is enough to cock the gun turn it about 1/2 turn more then leave it. That should sort your hose problem.

The back block problem could either be:

timing - doubtfull though if it does return when you manually move the trigger
Trigger frame - the set screws might be catching on the plate

But almost certainly it's the trigger spring. remember that the trigger spring is having to work against the pressure your rock reg used to push the back block back. So once you have lowered the cocking pressure the tigger spring should be able to do it's job and the problem will go away.

So basically, it all stemms around your rock reg. either you have wound it in too high (which I think) or the reg seat is damaged/dirty for not sealing (doubtfull as new)

As for you inline - the WDP one is adjustable and is a good reg. But I have a Glad on mine and it rocks.

Let me know how you get on

you were right about the rock.

I had it backwards.
I unscrewed it all the way, and tightened it up again about a 1/2 turn and it works.. no more broken hoses, no more sticky back block..
(I do have to re-time it now though, as I messed with the sear lug, and timing rod lenth.. ) Thanks for all your help guys.
