I just got a shocktech front pneumatics settup for my cocker. every time I gas it up I blow a hose. first of all.. WHY?
secondly, Do I have to get a low pressure reg/foregrip?

I planned on getting an ANS GenX regulator for it anyways..

right now its the WGP stock reg.

I've tried turning down the rock pressure. (I think its off)

And My Ram throws the block back, and sticks there..
I have to MANUALLY pull the trigger forward to get it to return the bolt. ..this is all very strange to me.. Any help would be appreciated:confused: :(

well then..

well the hose that is blowing is the one that goes from the Rock reg to the three way.

Its a brand new three way.. ..like I havent even shot a ball using it yet. (shocktech bomb)

Ive got a Kapp trigger plate and frame... shocktech rear block
totaly new front pneumatics (by shocktech) mounted on stock front block (I tapped it)

If it is a bad o-ring in the three way, could I just release the coupling and pull the shaft through the front to check/change it?

Which end does the hose blow from. This should tell you which end is building up to much pressure/loose fitting/ect. If you get that fixed first the bomb should be easy to sort out.

Something I just thought about, is the coupling pushing the shaft too far forward in it's stationary position:confused: That would turn it to open bolt rather than closed bolt.

I'm not sure if the shaft will slide out the front, I can't help on that one:(

the spitting hose.. (of which I am slowly running out of)
The hose is splitting closest to the rock reg...
I've got the nob turned in as far as I can.. I mean its tight, not in all the way. I could probably close it down more w/ pliers, but I didnt think it was supposed to go in further.

The three way..
um.. well lemme put it this way.
I cock the gun, gas up, (and if the rock hose doesnt blow) pull the trigger really slowly, the block moves back first. so yes its either firing too late or cocking to early..
So I should shorten the timing rod? Is that what your saying?

If it is just spitting i'd say all you need to do is re-loctite the fitting. Alternativly turn the pressure from your inline reg right down. Then keep testing with it.

To be honest the twister end caps do bugger all. This is coming from one of the best cocker airsmiths in the world. Set it somewhere in the middle and then leave it.

If you can get it to a point when you gas it up and nothing else happens. Like leaks, or bangs, you should be ok. If when you pull the trigger the gun doesn't cycle quite right it just needs re-timing. Which I imagine it would anyway after fitting a complete new set of front end bits.

Well I could be wrong but I was under the impresion that the tighter that you tighten the nob your front reg the MORE presure Try backing the nob all the way out and start from there

reloctite? its a barbed fitting for a three-way hose.. how do you locktite that? and I dont understand how that would help w/ a splitting hose?

With the OLD/STOCK hoses.. I didnt blow anything.. I accidently broke one (long story).. so I bought some shocktech front hoses, and they blow every time.

The point of the rock is to reduce cocking pressure.. hence making the gun more efficient (supposedly)..
(tends to negate the effect when you blow a hose every time..)

I was hoping to time it myself, (I've done the Minor timing adjustments before w/out problems) but I think I''ll just take it back to an airsmith.. ..frustrating though.

Is the stock inline reg adjustable? if so, how?
I think someone said to lower inline reg pressure, which it seems would help, but I have a stock reg.
And if that is adjustable, its news to me..
..good news.. but news all the same.
lemme know what you know..
Thanks for all your help by the way..
