Music to get hyped with

Tyger

Old School, New Tricks
Ok, old thread idea, new stuff.

Just another question to ask folks. What music do you listen to before playing. And, I guess, what kind of music do 'yall like?

I'm asking because of the Daredevil soundtrack (HOLY FREAKING SHEET does this album rock!!!!) It's becasue of this album I discovered "Evanescence". And I think it's going on a Paintball CD, sometime soon...

So, umm, what kind of music do you all like to listen to for paintball purposes?

I personally dont listen to anything particular before games, I do like mellow stuff tho as a preference to anything else... being too hyped leads to silly mistakes (on my part)...

I prefer to be nice and mellow until I get out out to the field, then when in the base ready to go I do like a team heads together and a quick 1..2..3.. Team shout to get me to the stage I am ready to play.... as an aside, I know its not a scientific experiment but last sunday in the games we started with a team shout we performed far better than in games we didnt. odd.

Bit of old school hip hop for me... ICE-T, P.E., Ghetto Boys, maybe even a spot of Cypress Hill.

Bit of Led Zep never goes a miss either...

Prodigy have always worked pretty well also... Voodoo People... :)

Soundtracks to GO, Gone in 60 Seconds, Hackers, and the Crow, all have great tunes also.

I might have to see Daredevil and get that sound track...

Hmmm, I had to make some special Paintball CD's to listen too with a mixture of the following:

Prodigy (especially Smack My Bitch Up)
Aphrodity
E-Z Rollers
Nirvana (Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come as you are)
Nickleback (how you remind me)
Onyx (Slam)
Beastie Boys (esp. Intergalatic)
Public Enemy (Fight The Power, Pete Rock remix of Shut em' Down & Bring da Noise, and anything on It Takes a Nation of Millions...)
Wu-Tang Clan
Tim Dogg (F*ck Compton, rest of his stuff is sh*te)
Rza (GhostDog Soundtrack esp the interludes)
LL Cool J (G.O.A.T., Mamma Said Knock You Out, Phoenimon -sp?)
Eric B & Rakim (Don't Sweat the Technique)
Main Source (Breakin Atoms LP)
M.O.P. (Ante up)
DMX
Ice Cube (Amerikkka's Most Wanted the whole Album)
Old Dirty *******
GhostFace Killah
Method Man
Snoop & Dre (Deep Cover)
Cypress Hill (Anything on Black Sunday)
House of Pain (Shamrocks and Shinnaneguns- sp?)
Big Daddy Kain (Raw)
Helicopter (on ya way)

Can't be doing with Trance or Garage though.

What would be interesting to work out though, is if people's musical choice dictates the style and "usual" position.

i.e. Doe back Players prefer Metal or Hip Hop.
