I like to think there aren't people or at least very many at all who would do this, most paintballers would never even dream of this simply for competition as we have to work together to grow the sport :)
couldn't agree more. I noticed a comment somewhere on the FB page that someone rightly pointed out that these extra costs will eventually filter down to players and such so nobody really wins in such a tight knit industry.

yeah saw that too....
The sad thing is someone will have to pay to replace the damaged bunkers.

The cost will probably filter down to the teams at some point.

Yet another knife in the back of paintballers!
And is defo true :( i'm seeing an entry increase next year or possibly towards this year :(

i hope it has nothing to do with a competitor and i doubt it very much - Whoever did do it though should be banned from every event europe wide and feel the wrath of the police !!! name and shame them
Which ever format or series you play its not on as it will only hit the teams that play in the pocket in the long run

Remember that the culpit/culprits may not be paintball related.

From the satellite image of the site, looks like a relatively large housing area very near to the event location.

Could be just irresponsible kids playing a very unfunny prank.....

I know gangs of kids have got a very bad reputation to the community/world but just because of their reputation it doesnt mean itd be more likely to be a gang of kids it could have been one of the neighbours trying to stop the event as it would be crowded? Lots of cars blocking roads? It could have been done by an adult for a very stupid reason

Agreed.

But with that said, usually 'normal' adults would think of the consequenses of their actions before doing such a thing.

IMO, a normal adult with a relatively reasonable brain, would have thought twice.

Kids on the other hand have no second though for what might happen if they are caught, hence my post about 'Could be just irresponsible kids'.

True, alot of kids wouldnt think about thier actions but if it was kids theyd probably just muck about jumping on them as i dont think theyd just slash up a load of bunkers for no reason anyways my guess is a group of older boys around 17-18?

Who ever it was better not be at the event as if they are found out people will have something to say or do to them
