truly was a horrible field, but you guys are right, it was the first taste of speedball for many and should be revered! The other bad thing is that Skirmish Notts had one CD, that they played on repeat, for 5 years.
Not me though, my first tourney was the Euro Indoor in 2001. Nuts.

Only ever played a couple of tournaments on it and to be honest i never really liked it,especially the hollowed out pools of mud in front of the pipes that awaited me.
But then again it was better than the mud pit at Elsham.

Ah yes, the Euro Indoor. Held in an "indoor equestrian arena", which was basically a shed which stank of horse poo. The epitome of glamour, and a nice little earner.

Has anyone seen a pair of nike football boots stuck in the mud in Elsham? They've been there since 1996. Would be good to see them again.
