As to sandbagging in general, Shoulda been at Skyball. Man, It was kinda odd that the Novice division was larger than the Am's, and most of hte AM teams, who play NPPL as ams, suddenly became novices? Hrm?
Did they play the category according to the rules or did the promotors ignore teams breaking the event rules? Cus without specific rules against what they did, why not?

question (hypothetical - it probably wouldn't happen)

say a novice team that has been formed for less than a year goes and wins toulouse or campaign or any of the big tourneys. should they move up to am the next season?

Cow, our only disagreement was over the Arkansas/ Missouri thing... buffoon.

Inferno, if you're going by Rancid's scenario, then yes, but no, still not playin' pro paintball.

Rancid, as usual, I hate you.

Upsupball, they probably should, but the beautiful thing is, they can do whatever they want!;) I can't see too many teams not making the move after something like that though.

So far. :) (That was just fair warning)

As to the buffoon business, what, you talking to me? Are you talking to me? Do I make you laugh? Am I a joke?

PS--any chance you'll be at IAO where you can receive a proper thrashing?:D

The rules stated that previous expirence was a factor, I really think I was one of the only guys to call and ask if I'd be legal where I was. (As an "am" at Skyball, I played Novice with 4 other guys who were novice / rookie as far as Skyball was concerned)

**sigh** I love rules lawyering.

Which, oddly, didn't really answer the question

Oh, stop your grousing and deal with the question, either the specific question posed or the larger question of whether or not sandbaggin exists in any reality other than in the minds of players cranked up by better players.

PS- "The rules stated that previous expirence was a factor" is a bit nebulous, isn't it?
