Broke a couple of toes earlier in the year... carried on playing... they were just asbout healed... broke them again... carried on playing... they were just about healed, tore a muscle in the top of my back, off playing for a month. Go to get massage therapy for it.... its just about healed!! Get rushed into hospital with massive head pains and suspected stroke/anurysm!! :p

All in all it has been a good year :D

Tore a ligament and chipped a bone in my right ankle last summer on a stag-weekend in Edinburgh (paintballing!), proceeded to play a further two M25 tournaments before being told by my Doctor that I need to stop or my ankle will fall off.

Slid badly during our second game at Toulouse this year (I think I was so shocked that I'd managed to make it into the 50 snake against our Pro draw that I forgot to plant my feet properly) and tore 3 ligaments in my left ankle, plus "traumatised" the achilles tendon (whatever that means).

Upon going to the physio this year, was told not only is my left foot in a bad way, but the injuries from last year haven't healed and that in a way, I'm lucky to be walking, but also that if it wasn't for all the paintballing I do, my ankles would probably have snapped off long ago (due to a congenital joint defect I have).

Someone is telling me I should slow down...

I was working 30 hour day down mill, 8 days a week, 6 weeks a month, 15 months a year. I broke seventeen toes on each of my three feet. I had 4 torn ribs, and two broken necks. But we had it hard, and you tell the youngsters nowadays, and they won't believe you.
