Currently I own a Viper M-1 and was looking at buying an Automag (as stated in another post). I was just wondering how many people own more than one marker. I want to hold on to my Viper as it is a totally different style than the Automag, yet that's a lot of money to spend for two pretty expensive markers.

Somebody! Help me validate my decision for more than one marker!!!...or not as you may see fit. thanks.

Most 'ballers have a secondary marker. Personally, I own 11 markers. You can always use a backup, because you just never know when something could go wrong, it's good policy.

Yeah........

as strangeglove says most ballers have more than one marker. I have a E-blade cocker and a eclipse cocker as a spare.

O and strangeglove what eleven markers do you have?

chunk. ;)

Most my markers are from back when I was a newbie, I never got rid of any of them. Now I loan 'em out to friends. I have my Rock IR3 as a primary, 2k1 Dark LCD as a secondary, 2k1 RF Autococker with mods as a second secondary, and then I loan out my 98 FX, highly modded Pro/Carbine (and I mean HIGHLY modded, it's not recognizable as a tippmann anymore), my pro/lite, 4 PG-1's (spyder clones, durable as he11, and I don't worry about breaking 'em, cause I paid next to nothing for 'em), and I'm restoring two '97 cockers (I got 'em both for less than $100 each, and one of them had $265 worth of parts on it. The idiot I bought it from thought it was toast, only thing wrong was a blown vavle Oring.HEHEHEHEHE) and yes, a legendary tigershark pump. Including the project 'cockers (which I intend on selling) I guess I have 13. I'm buying another 'cocker soon though, and possibly an LED angel (I'd like to have one from each generation)

Always 2 markers for me

Eclipse E-Blade Primary with Halo
Eclipse Shocker Secondary With Xbrd Revvy
Both on Geddons with 1.1+1.5 bottles
Spare Xboard Revvy

Nothing worse than travelling to a tourney to see your marker puff out.

My trunk of funk!

1. 'Elizabeth' : Eblade with Angel AIR and full freak system

2. 'Julie' : Utterly dependable '96 Evoloution 'cocker on Co2 (for when I can't be arsed to queue for air ;) )

3. 'Victoria' : '99 Shocker on Co2 with powerfeed/air assist for loan.

I'd love to explain why the guns have names..but this is a family oriented website! :D

1. Spyder TL (my first marker)
2. 2000 RF Cocker (my first real marker)
3. 99 STO Cocker (the first "project" marker I customized and will probably Eblade it... when I get around to it)
4. Shocker (still fun to bring out and play with, still my main tourny backup)
5. AKA Excaliber (current marker of choice)
6. Custom Warp-feed Vertebrae Cocker (designed specifically for a warp feed, haven't seen another one like it, soon to be Ebladed and my current showpiece marker)

I can outfit an entire 5 man team if I want to. Think it's too much? At one tournament, I had four markers in use (mine and three loaners) because everyone else was having gun problems :D

I used to feel bad about having six markers until I saw Dr. Strangelove goes to 11!

Don't feel bad about having more than one marker. You can never have too many toys!
