I've bought and sold a few things with people of these boards, A few I've met in person (at tourney's for example) to exchange, the other's have all followed a simple rule the buyer sends money first, once the funds are cleared I send the goods.

have them send a money order or certified bank check..Shoudnt have any problems then..Good luck..Most sellers and buyers are good people but thier are those few looking to scam..Also just grab thier telephone # and talk to em before the deal..that always eases my mind a bit

You could always ask for a few refferences from people they've dealt with before.. you tend to find that most people are trustworthy and reliable.
Failing that, like Paul said, you can arrange to meet people at tournaments or somewhere Mid way.

ive looked on royal mail an UPS. UPS does COD, but costs about 50euros. royal mail has special deliveries, where i send the money, an the guy signs for it, an then the delivery guy takes the package. i think second option sounds better, and takes only one day apparently. was thinking of buying chunks green alien autococker.

In which case I'd just send your money, it'll be fine dealing with Chunk! He frequents these boards often as do his teamates and am pretty sure I've met him at a tourny or two.

What you could do is meet at the airport. Have the money in a locker somewhere and only give him the key to the locker when you have the stuff.........no wait, that was Get Shorty, not a bad movie. Anyway the only way to be 100% certain of things, IMO, is to meet face to face, you could buy something over the net and when it comes you find a huge scratch down the side or whatever.

i though get shorty was pretty pants. but anyway, i cant get to ireland, and doubt he can, or wants to, come to brum. anyway, not completely certain, just lookin into the workings etc of the cocker.
