You'll be lucky to get mini + decent packaging down to just 1kg, but it's worth a try. Most markers I've posted recently came in around 1.5 - 2kg when packed in a sturdy box. I've always used Royal Mail's Airsure service, to send outside UK & overseas. It's more expensive than regular Airmail but is tracked and insured, however there is a 2kg max limit. Another option to consider is 'International signed for' delivery.
lol

Well yeah its just the mini and spares as it has no box at the min. Thanks for your info.

Even though it's a tiny marker, you'll do well to get mini + packaging down to just 1kg, but it's worth a try. Most markers I've posted recently came in around 1.5 - 2kg when packed in a sturdy box. I always used Royal Mail's 'Airsure' service to send outside UK, and shipped 2 markers to Canada and the USA without problems. It's more expensive than regular Airmail but is tracked and insured, however there is a 2kg max limit. Another option to consider is 'International signed for' delivery.
I didn't say that it weights 1 kg just said that it costs pretty the same Special Delivery UK or First Class mail to Italy.

Yes it can be posted at the price you have said but it only covers £39 in costs if the packet was to get lost etc.

The price of £12.99 allows you to claim upto £500 if the packet get lost. Im sure you would wanna pay the highest amount incase something happens???

I always double check Royal Mail prices in UK, otherwise you get caught out and loose money on the deal. Some of the RM options have big price jumps decided by weight. Signed for next day special delivery is a good example. Up to 2kg costs £10.60, but go over the 2kg by even a few grams and it'll fall into 2-10kg bracket, which then costs you £23.10 to send.
