I'm sure you'll back me up here Mr Toye, but didn't the final consist of three games? And didn't the Rushers cane the Banzai in 45 seconds in the first game?

Not great TV, but outstanding play from the Rusher Love Machine.

And incidentally, haven't spoken to you in yonks dude. How is life treating the Toye-boy these days?

I don't think the first game was that long !

It started out as a best of 3 but then they needed to extend it to best of 5 coz they didn't have enough footage. Banzai's won it 3 to 1. We didn't even need to play the last game.... Remember that we had been reffing all weekend so didn't even see that field until 10 minutes before the game and the Rushers had been playing it all weekend !

Anyway, what do I care.. WE WON !!!

Like I said. Was an entertining program. Got me into finding out about tournaments (which I knew nothing of) after playing rec ball for years
