If someone wishes to sell a rotor on here, without a box, how can we proves its neither yours or daves?

true, but with out a box or manual at the least, that would seem a tad wierd
Not really i don't have room in my house to keep empty boxes so they all go into the bin
It would be hard to prove it is your rotor thats being sold but its worth a shot, if it was your rotor that had been stolen then im sure you would try anything and everything possible to find it.
I thought my rotor going "missing" was a one off but now i will not be leaving any of my gear in the tents.

Exactly why I stopped posting, i was just concerned you were going to hunt everyone down when they sell a rotor, just wanted to be able to prove it was mine before the sales thread goes up.It would be hard to prove it is your rotor thats being sold but its worth a shot, if it was your rotor that had been stolen then im sure you would try anything and everything possible to find it.

But yeah keep looking buddy, I know I would, and makes it harder for people to steal and sell.
It's a few selfish nerks who've decided they wanna play but can't afford to unless they get a "bonus" blag here and there.
It's unfortunate f0r the losers we all agree but lets not see this as common trend and hope that it remains a rare occourence.
Blagging is going on everywhere not just Reading,I know places I'd rather blag if I was a blagger...
I'm not trying to make light of any theft by no means,people will have to be more vigilant in future...wouldn't you like to catch one of these ****s.....

if there smart they will buy a colour kit and sell it as a diff colour there scumbags but we all know that there are theifs in paintball so we should all be more carefull with our kit

Theft is not endemic at Reading or NSPL events, but every now and then someone takes an irresistible fancy to something they don't have or can't afford. Players and teams can do themselves a favour at all events and keep an eye on their kit at all times.

You're fantastic. Thank you very very much for all your help! no really, thank you. If they didnt think of that before, they sure as **** have now. What a nice guy you are. Now instead of what could of been a thief, we're dealing with what could be a thief aided by a complete jack ass. Thanks so much for your contribution.
I can't stress that more than enough, I have been to the reading events for the past year and always, always enjoyed myself and never had anything like this happen to me, or hear anything about it happening to anyone else (that I can remember) the NSPL is always a great event, with a good friendly atmosphere, and one isolated incident of ''theft'' will not ruin this. Thank you to everyone that has been intouch with me and offered help - its more than appreciated.
