I'm having trouble making out all of the info on this thread but just thought I'd say my site takes business from MOP. We dont actually make anything from the £10. MOP keep this however all paint sales are retained and pay for our overheads. At £4 per 100 for paintballs we still feel customers are getting a decent deal. We also put on food as all of our MOP bookings are full day. Sure we're lucky to make profit (generally breaking even with small profit) through these particular bookings as the £10 paid to MOP will generally cover our overheads on any other day but if it means were spreading the word and introducing new faces to paintball we've done our job. Plus with our proud customer service track record we retain a solid customer base and all parties are happy.

That's less than most sites charge for paint for direct booking customers! ISTR the glossy brochure for MoP lists the prices some of their various "affiliated" sites charge for extra paint and its around £7 per 100 usually.

hmmmmmmm.A tough one for me this one.I do agree the tactics used by MOP are not the best!Their lack of knowledge of the sport is shocking. The only good thing I can say about them is that they do get people "into" paintball. My girlfreind and I now play Tourney paintball on a regular basis due to being aproached by one of these "sales agents".Although iam sure thats not the norm. That said most tourney players do play rec first and get "hooked".

I dont like them but i guess if they get more people into the scene that must be a good thing?
