tryed that didnt work winding screws out still no joy ..

hmmmmm

then the next thing is

take the top body/tube off and leave the grip frame

check the magnet on the top of the trigger blade hasnt broken free and is sticking to the other sensor plate thing ... easy to tell if it has coz the small cylindrical magnet will be missing or very loose/ stuck to something else

bloody hell has he been using a hammer on it lol ,i can imagine it will be only minor, the trigger sensor my have been damaged
