Has anyone noticed the date is Sat 7th - Mon 9th??

Are they running this event through the bank holiday as we (UK) have a bank holiday on the Fri and the Mon.

The dates are subject to change but this could be essential for people taking time off.
These dates would be better, most people would not lose any annual leave.:D
I questioned both Barry & Steve over lunch today and they informed me that the dates are indeed correct and they were well aware this meant the Monday. They also mentioned that this was better for most players due to vacation commitments etc.

So yes this event is Saturday to Monday.

Apparently the work to update the MS website is also about to start soon.

Looking forward to it this year...

Body for hire

My team's not playing the event and I really wanna go out there and if not play, at least be out there for the experience.

So if there's any teams looking for a guest (I play insert normally though I'm comfortable playing back line too) drop me a line :D All own gear etc etc etc. I played M5 last year if that affects roster lock or anything, not sure how the MS are orchestrating all that this year.

Alternatively, if theres any companies out there looking for a general dogs body to help out I'd happily earn my keep :D

Atleast better for the Frenchies;)

It would have been much better if they could keep all the tournaments running from friday to sunday, just like in 2006!

Anyway, looking forward to the 07 season:)

Yeah kinda odd actually moving it to a saturday-monday event, since that still means a day off work (when returning the day after finals as most does!) - keeping it as a friday-sunday event would have meant NO days off work......

And BOY - just checked up on flights - DAMN they are expensive.... :(

I bet it´s gonna be a "run for the money" getting cheap hotels as well seeing it is a holiday and people loves south of France this time at year - so would be nice having a venue/location soon? :)

so true. im in charge of finding our british contingent flights, I was hopeful of something cheap as the weekend before was coming in about £50 return, however the Easter weekend has bumped the prices up to at least half that
Time to find a caravan!
