Golf Shoes that'll do the job:

Finally a thread I'm fully qualified to comment on!!!!

Try these from Nike:

Or these from Addidas:

At least the "white" Addidas ones will make you all play better ;)

The key with golf shoes is how stiff the sole is.

Most golf shoes have a really stiff sole, to the point where you are actually unable to play with one knee on the ground the right way, when playing paintball.

So, my best advice is to go to a shop and try the shoes, before buying them, unless you have solid information from someone else.

I tried something like 20 different golf shoes, from 6 different brands, and of them all, only Puma PG soles had the right flexibility (actually making them piss poor golf shoes :D) - and the only other brand that had a little flexibility was Ecco.... but that was to a much lesser extent, and they would need some wearing in.

As a baller, surely you should be more interested in what colour they come in? ;)

Golf shoes would be a good investment for most. If player (loutish) behaviour doesn't sort itself out, then everyone might be looking for an alternative Sunday "hobby" anyway.

Starting off from the start gate its whats more worrying for me!

Was the turf in Toulouse not designed for hockey? I was wearing my hockey shoes and they did not prevent me slipping.

I going to wear some track cleats with the spikes removed, should do the trick!
