I guess so Agge, but Fraser was saying that the present MS rule kicks in not after 3 shots, but after 1 shot. I have no idea if he was right on that point.

Apologies nick, I was wrong. :)

last year was kick in on 2 shots i beleive?

with 7.5 bps ramp on my proto, it was two pulls within the required time to get it to go to 15.

not the same on all guns tho i beleive, i definatly dont think the ego's did that?

The only requirement last year was to pull at least 8bps before you get ramping.

So ramping on the second shot would be allowed.

In my opinion the PSP have the best gun rules at the moment.
The Millenium series should have copied their rules word for word instead of the naive adaptation they used this year.

Not a problem buddy, if you need anything like this clarified feel free to contact me.

The present MS ruling (7.5pps before ramp is enabled) kicks in after the first 3 shots have been pull; provided that they are at 7.5pps speed or above. This is how it works on the Ego at least.

The marker section in the MS rules mentions nothing about requiring 3 shots before ramping activates such as in the PSP mode.
Below is the relevant section from the rules.

Ramping shots will be allowed only once 8bps has been achieved and then the marker may ramp to 15bps only if the 8bps is continually maintained. Once the trigger is released only 1 additional shot may be discharged thereafter.

It's strange that they made it 8 bps, i thought the main reason they upped it was so that only one extra ball would come out after each shot, and that would be achieved by having 7.5 bps as the kick-in level. Or maybe they thought the concept of a non-integer rate would confuse the poor 'ballers.
