The Millennium guys are all meeting today and so I think they may well have the relevant information after.

I'm hearing that they are mandating that gun manufacturers pay $30,000 if they want their guns to be used at the event.
So if Joy want to play the MS, they need WDP to part with an additional 30g.
Eclipse hold the power here. They refuse to pay, and the league lose 70% of the teams, forcing the MS to back-peddle.
They are going to go from locking out teams from divisions, to locking out manufacturers, and through them, their teams.

Personally I would like to see a wholesale refusal. Send them back to the drawing board to come up with another way of milking the industry and everyone in it. I don't believe its fair for teams that want to play the events to be precluded from them because their sponsor is not able to justify (through ROI) the 30-50g being asked.
The teams will suffer, or will have to change sponsors/loyalties. If the manufacturers didn't pay, they would end up financially better off.
I hope this falls flat on it's face. Its a truly crap idea.
