Disciplinary commitee ?

What does a member of the commitee have to do ?
I would like to volunteer but I cant drive so wont be able to make any meetings etc unless they are at the midlands masters events.

Midlands Masters 2003

Disciplinary Committee.............

The MM are setting up a disciplinary committee that will be responsible for meeting out punishments, and arbitrating on diciplinary cases that may arise during the 2003 season.

In short the committee will have the details sent via e-mail, of any incidents that were bought to the attention of the Ultimate, including statments from both the team Captains if applicable, and the head field Judge. The committee will then decide suitable arbitration and will make their award based on the majority decision.

The findings will then be placed on the New MM web site, and if appropriate copies sent to the player/teams sponsors.

Penalties imposed will range from official warnings, handicapping penalties, player/team suspensions, and player/team expulsions.

The aim is to make the MM a series that everyone wants to play.

Midlands Masters - 2003 - Provisional Divisions

Here are the provisional divisions for round 1 which will be held at Paintball Park, Nr Kidderminster, on the 26th January 2003.
I say provisional because not ALL of the deposits are in yet.

The divisions are seeded according to a combination of three factors each of which is given a numerical value. Teams are then seeded based on this value.

Firstly the teams rank, one of 5 categories, Pro, Am A, Am B, Nov, and New Entry. Full details in info packs......................

Then the top 25 teams from MM2002 are awarded points from 25 for 1st down to 1 point for 25th.

Finally the teams current MM series points are added. This new ranking system wil be in place throughout MM 2003 and should provide a more balanced schedule, let us know what you think.
