i think were all making a fuss over nothing here. it seemed to me that he posted in the context "AAAAGHH ya gits, that tourney was outside my house but now i have to drive four hours!!!" but he want quite as eloquent. so shall we drop it?
You'd better watch what you're saying 'pal'. I can guarantee I travel further than most to marshal these events, let alone play them.
And by the way, when you say in another thread that the marshalling on field 2 was bad on sunday, did you mean all the games or one inparticular? Please feel free to take this up with me in person, as I know I want to...

Also, you may travel further than most to marshal, but since when did it become a mileage contest? And as you get paid to marshal, I cant see how that statement is even relevant.
Blakey, I would sort this out if I were you.
Dont let this get out of hand lads, no need to wind anybody up. As the midlands chaps said, the marshals are looking after 40 or so games a field so they are bound to make one or 2 mistakes.
And venue changes cant be helped, i'm sure there is a good reason why it was changed

p.s make sure none of u lot forget that The Clan drive for about 5-8 hours to get to the MM events, so we take the milliage contest hands down
