Not sure what to add to whats already been said....

Its a fantastice venue, the fields were superb with the award going to Field 2.... There seemed to be a general air of friendliness at this tourney, much more than all the others I have attended.

The marshalling was very good as far as I could tell, but not overly consistent... 1 field they chronoed everyone and at another they chronoed 1 person per team... at one field clothing layers were checked at another it wasnt.... On field 4 there was some dispute over the out of bounds and to be honest Im still not sure who was right, marshalls or players.

Safety - well as far as I could see it was fairly safe, the only thing that did cause some concern for me personally was the fact that on field 3 the marshalls were chronoing players towards the spectator area by the marquee.

There is never enough trade at these events really, but then how much is going to be enough? I personally only bought a magazine and rarely take my Credit cards with me cause Im a sucker for shineys ;) and I didnt use Tech Support as I have a cocker and it appeared to be purely Angels that were being serviced...

All minor points and shouldnt detract from what was without a doubt the second best tourney I have ever attended (first being campaign last year)

Dave

PS Is it just me or are there some people that appear to shout for checks from the moment the game starts till it finishes? :D

Would like to see clothing checks done. With all the discussion about whether or not Dye tops were to be allowed at tourny's due to the padding, we turn up at one field to find that two of the opposing team are wearing tops over nice thick hoodys. Come on guy,s, you know it's gonna bounce and then you say you'll win through superior playing.
By the way, we maxed 'em. All I'm saying is let's get some fair rules on clothing for all, say one t'shirt and one jersey, or two jersey's on a very cold day.
My call of the day.
Otherwise, top event.

Well last time i posted on here about layers i said i wear 2 t,s and me playing top but got slated for it,So this time 1 t and me top no need for any more.

+ it was a hot day so there was no need for loads of clothes.

And as for the toilet if we lose this event it will be a big loss...BUt its only a toilet seat so lets all just chip in on the next event and pay for the repair.

Either that or hunt down the person responsible!

Cheers BATTY

dye tops are recognised as tourney legal, it's was it under them that counts.
It's not the number of layers, it's the material within each layer.
2 thin t-shirts are always going to be thinner than most sweatshirts
As for body shots so far in sup air i've hit have been on my marker, marker arm, hopper or mask. Which if i'm correct are the most visible targets and the hardest so balls will break anyway

It was me who decided to chrono everyone because of the simple reason that it was hot. (field 2) People where sitting around with their markers in the sun. We all Know what happens to pressure when the tanks get hot. A lot of guns where incredible hot over the chrono that day which would have otherwise gone on to the field.
Clothing checks where done like customs in airports as it would just take too much time, to check every game for layers.
