Phil,
Any dates for the other tournies in this series ?
Are all these tournies 5 man ?
How much is the deposit ? 50 pounds ?
Well done for organising this series, just what we need in the UK.
Will there be air at these events ?
At max masters, all games were started using an air horn, this is great, no confusion about when the game starts. Eliminated players had to go into a netted off "hut" one at each end of the field.
Are you going to use millennium series rules ?
How about getting some media interest, local news, paper, be good for the sport.

Let's deal withyour questions one at a time.
The remaining dates sfor MM 2002 are:-
April 28th...Paintball Jungle
May 19th...Uttoxeter
June 23rd...Skirmish, Nottingham
July 21st...Uttoxter
August 18th...Paintball Park.
Sept 27th-29th Shoot the Rainbow
Oct TBA ...the Memorial Cup..Paintball Park
Yes all events are 5man, they alternate between unlimited and limited paint and visit 6 different locations throughout the series.
We are planning to add two indoor legs to the series for 2002/2003.
The deposit for one leg is indded £50.00, or £100.00 secures your team a place for the entire series.
We are currently talking to a couple of suppliers who may be able to supply air at the vents, but there are other considerations, watch this space.
We have tried starting all fields at the same time, but we found this a little to restrictive, so give our Marshalls the flexibilty to run so many games per hour, as was saw at Marchbwiel, Wrexham, 148 games in one day, and we finished the tourny a full hour ahead of schedule, but did anyone feel rushed..?
As was saw at marchbrook we have aquired several garden gazebos which we are considering using as eliminated zones.
WE use a variation of the Millenium series rule, we are in the process of compiling a set of rules, and are in consultaion with other organisers on this issue, there is also a question here that I'd like to ask, what rules do you guys want?
Finally media interest, we have strayed away from the media initialy not wanting to come under the spotlight as it were, prefering to quietly become established as credible promoters of fine paintball competitions, word of mouth has been our main advert, and we rely heavilly on the teams giving us feedback. However there does now seem to be a case for us advertising and promoting what we do to a wider audienece, as for media coverage there were reporters from the Welsh press, and indeed the pintball press present at Marchwiel, again watch this space.
