Great event Blakey and gang.
Guess we got spoilt last month for sup air playing fields, but it was a great field.
The netted field was wierd but good fun to play and field 3 wasn't our favourite when we got the bottom end but still it wasn't bad.

As for the toilets:eek: why do paintballers have difficulty in hitting a 12" target from 18" away:confused:

I rather like playing teams from the divison above as it gives you more experiance.

See ya all at the next leg

unsportmanlike behaviour

Steve you make a fair point, when will teams realise that it is the job of the marshals to sort out on field infringements, and before anyone jumps in, sometimes the marshals get it wrong, but mostly they are no more than a few feet away from the play and do in fact get it right.
In the instances where teams feel that they have been unfairly treated they go to the ultimate for adjudication, and there are times when even the ultimate gets it wrong, but not often.
The teams that you refer to were dealt with as I thought fair, but make no mistake, from here on in I will not tolerate any form of physical agression from any individual, or threat of violence towards anyone attending the Midlands Masters events, in fact any further outbursts will result in the offender being permanently barred from all MM events, and their team put on report pending a possible ban, as well as being reported to all other organisers/sponsors, who I would hope would echo this view.
As you are aware we also operate a handicaping system which is designed to encourage teams to let the refs make the calls, and abide by the complaints procedure, as we all know all grievenaces should be aired through the team Captain only.
Two thoughts for you, if the other guy does it to you, does it make it right if you do it back?
How would sponsors like their teams to behave, professional polite and curteous, or in a manner that bystanders could perceive to be out of control, with no respect for the rules or officials, win at what cost!

You tell me.

Blakey..........................................sometimes people genuinely surprise me.

Just echoing the points of everyone else.
Another cracking event guys. Keep it up.
As for the new limited format ( hoppers + 3 pots , as against just hoppers ) , I think it made a big difference , and for the better. It made for a more aggressive play , giving chances to work your way up the field and play some good ball.
Our results did n't show this though , but we had some really good games , and enjoyed the whole event.
Well done to all the winners , and especially well done to the Midlands Masters Crew.

Cheers , Rob.;) .

outburst

I totaly agree with you on the matter as I said I didnt want to offend any one . I mean the marshalls have a hard enough job as it is they cant be every were at the one time so a little thought should go into that, They are only human so you expect balls ups every now and again but as you always say teams dont go to the marshall if the call was for them a little case of hipocraciy I think.but Hey the matter is done and dusted so thats that .on another note whats is speed ball I know it might be a stupid question but we dont can you let us know . :D And thanks again for another good day out see you soon ..

The speedball fields for round five are
1. A tyre field. Barracades made up of tyres set out in an area the same size as is used for Sup Air.
2. A Barral field. As with the tyre field except using drums to form barracades.

It will be very much like playing Sup Air, no woods in sight.

Oh and we will have the two Sup Air fields there as well.

I hope this makes things a little clearer for you.

Hyperball

Imagine a Sup air field but instead of inflatables you have large plastic tubing set both vertically and horizontal on the field. They are large enough so a player can get inside them. Very intence and great fun to play.
