Thanks Dunc

We're glad you enjoyed the day.
Well done to all the teams who played this leg of the Midlands Masters, it was great to see all the regulars as well as the new teams who played the MM for the first time.
We will be posting the results shortly so watch this space.

I would just like to say a few thank you's for all the people who helped make round four such a success.
To Don at the Paintball Jungle, not only for the use of the excellent site but also for all the other help he has given us.
The marshal's who were provided by SAD, Jack (chameleons), Mohicans, RDX, and the Midlands Masters Marshal academy. They all done a fantastic job.
To the sponsors of the event, Diablo, warped sports, JSM engravers, Kelly's Heroes. Thanks for the continued support.
To Nicki and sylvia for making the event run as smooth as ever.
Also to all the teams who played, thanks for making it a joy to run the event.

The next leg is on the May 19th at the new concept site near Uttoxeter. We will be running four fields of which two will be Sup Air and two will be speedball fields, so once more we will be coming out of the woods and into the concept arena.
almost two thirds of the places are already filled for this event, but if you want to get you team then you can contact us at midlandsmasters@aol.com

Glad you enjoyed the tourny, with regards to the sup-air, you must have a big house, the actual field is standard 5man size, ie 50m x 25, the location may have made it seem smaller, as for the ground, it was the only plave in the forest it would fit, and then not quite it would seem. Remember you the players asked for it we're just trying to provide the events that you want to play.

What about all you other teams?, what did you think about the sup-air?, and the new ltd paint format?, the event in general?, if you don't tell us we can't improve it !

The series points will appear here shortly.

I think the sup'air field was kool!!! Some of the most enjoyable games I've ever had were on that field! The playing surface was kinda interesting, but fantastic all the same.

As for the limited paint thing. I think this worked a treat. I think one of our players ran out of paint ONCE all day. It made for a more aggresive style of playing as you weren't simply sitting at the back hammering pot after pot of paint at eachother!

By the way, did I mention that the new Zap "CHRONIC" paint rocked??

Round four Nottingham

Don, Phil, Mark

A fantastic day, the nets were brilliant you could really get in the oppositions face, no hiding, just great clean paintball. Supair was nice to see and the extra permenant bunkers were playable (trees). The third field was a bit run of the mill compaired to those really. I personally learnt something from the day as I now know abadoning live kit is a pullable offence. STRICT!

but only a few down points....and I'm not pointing fingers.

1. Strict rules? I must have personally walked past a few chronos and watched guys put upto ten balls in one case across averaging 310, and he was fresh of the field. He was then allowed to go to the back of the other 3 to try again. It then tested hot and blind eyes were turned. Really someone may have been blinded!!!......Without safety this sport is doomed.

2. If were heading out of the woods lets not rely on camo... I personally don't want to play against 5 moles who want to dig in!

3. Did we have to play across the divisions to resolve sole division places? Why did div 'A' have to have a helping hand in the fate of Div'B'?......(alright I'm upset about this one :( )

Don't see this as all political and nitpicky guys it truly is turning into a popular tourny series and I and the team will be as keen as ever to better and boost our sport up to the top.

WHAT A GREAT TOURNAMNET
I THINK THE LTD PAINT WAS GREAT WELL DONE FOR LISTENING WITH REGARDS EXTRA PAINT IT REALLY WORKED
THE NETS FIELD WOW THAT WAS SOMETHING ELSE. A REALLY EXCITING FIELD TO PLAY
ONLY THINGS ON THE DOWN WAS THE SUP AIR FIELD WHEN EVER YOU RAN INTO A BUNKER TO GET TIGHT IT TOOK OFF OUT OF THE GROUND THINK THE GROUND WAS TOO SOFT BUT IT WAS GOOD TO HAVE ONE AT A EVENT WOULD BE GOOD TO DO THAT AT EVERY WOODLAND EVENT IF POSS.
AND THE TOILETS NO NO NO ONLY TWO ? THEY WERE THAT UNCLEAN I FELT SORRY FOR THE GIRLS THAT HAD TO USE THEM UNLIKE US BLOKES THAT CAN JUST PISS ANYWERE.
OTHER THAN THAT WHAT A GREAT EVENT AND THANKS TO ALL THE TEAMS WE PLAYED WE HAD A GREAT DAY CHEEEEERS TO THE MIDLANDS MASTERS :) :) :)
P.S JUST ONE THING MARK WE COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHY WE HAD TO PLAY A DIV A TEAM AT THE END?
