He hasn't played NPPL for over a year, so if he did get banned I guess he'd have served it by now...
Lasoya wasn't banned from NPPL, it was one of the smaller circuits, circa 2002, some info here:

wow dude that is some crazy sh*t.
the only way to stop things like that happening is for people to stop playing on. fair enough he should not have hit the guy 12 times but if i saw someone playing on i would light them up like a christmas tree. not saying that wade was playing on but it seams to me that most players seem to think that it is part of the game now. i over heard a team last week laughing about how they got away with being goged. next time i play that team i will make sure that i hit each player at least 5 times

Aw man, it was two years ago... I think Wayne wrote up the factual account pretty well.
Chris went to bunker Wade (I think it was Wade). He shot him in the head a lot of times. Wade dropped. The ambulance came and took Wade away.
When I say a lot of times, I mean more than a few, but it only took 1 second, maybe less. He sort of paused, walked the trigger while pointing at Wade's head, and shot really fast. I have heard people say that it was 20 shots, I have heard people say that it was 6. I don't know how anybody could count.
Chris can be a hell of a nice guy, too. Just catch him on the right day. He has always been cool to me, whether or not I was playing against him, whoever won.
I don't know what the organizers did as far as banning him, I don't remember. It was a Mountain States Tournament Series event, a series Mike Lynch used to run. That series is in someone else's hands now. It is local to Colorado.
