Miami Effect at Toulouse?

NXL is definitely out of Toulouse and it looks like the NXL teams are allowed to play one 7-player event. After the plug was pulled (lack of unanimous interest in relation to the expense as I understand it) it first looked like an open X Ball (tm) competition was in order. But now it looks like more of the top US teams are interested in playing 7-player.

Effect still says they are going to go and play in France, but the NXL never officially declared it's a legal event to go to. I just can't imagaine they'll even consider throwing a whole team out.
I'm still betting that the NXL never makes up those 12 games. At this point everyone has finally caught on that every stupid team makes the finals and none of the x-ball season matters at all.
It all comes down to one tournament at the end.

I remember somebody trying to pull that on me once when I was marshalling a tourney.
It only succeeded in getting the response: "Yes, you're an arse who has 10 seconds to get off the field before I go pulling your teammates armbands"
