Just had two of our team bottles tested at a local tsting centre and it was only £13.50 each + VAT. This was for the fibre wrapped bottles and NOT the scuba tanks.

Thought that was really cheap, as I seem to remember that H-PAC was £23.00 ish (I think...??)

If anyone wants their info, drop me a line.

but on the other hand H-pac will collect and drop off at tourneys (saving £18 postage each way) and they know paintball. So you gets what you pay for :)

Come people, support H-pac.

I agree that we should support H-PAC.......

However, not at a financially higher cost to us. I have no problem getting H-Pac to test my cylinders, but, if I can get the EXACT same thing for a fraction of the cost (about £10.00 less, i think), then I'll take it.

Maybe, taking out the postage for the testing of just one cylinder might not be worth the hassle, but when you start talking about 2-3 cylinders, like I just had done, then it's well worth it.

I can only assume that H-PAC do make a charge for their services at tournaments, so in therory, we are supporting them anyway. I seem to remember reading something about £5 per player at an event, but I could be wrong mind you.

I'll post details up on Monday of where to send the tanks as they have just moved to larger more professional premises and I don't have the new address here.

Although I got my bottle tested elsewhere (not H-Pac btw) now Wing Nut has said who is doing the testing I can say without any hesitation that those guys are not numpty testers as they do the job properly, I have known about them for years and several teammates have had bottles tested there with no issues, in fact they were one of the few people at one time who were even prepared to take in paintball tanks for testing when scuba stores would laugh at you or charge loads of money. Sure there are some cowboy testers out there but Thameside are not one of them.
H-pac are good but they aren't god as there are alternatives
