As the subject says. I have been asked what the maximum operating pressures are of a 12oz and 20oz co2 bottles are. I assume that all co2 pressures are about the same, i know that because of the nature of co2 it might fluctuate but it is about 2000 psi. Is this true or can anybody give me the actual pressures or a a ball park figure of what the max will be, my selling of a marker lies in the answer.

lile bonedome said, at room temp it's about 853.

Now, keep in mind that that's at 70 F (room temp). The output psi will change with temp. A tank left in the hot sun on a 100F day will have a high psi.

Also, I think it's important to remember the operating psi of your gun. Most standard blow-back types can operate on a psi from 600 to 850psi. If the psi gets too high, the valve of the gun may shut close rendering the gun inoperable.
