what they said :) you can get a new ion with warrenty off these boards for well under £200 and still have cash left for a second hand air system

loads F/S on the classifieds boards usually

Does the QEV fit onto the airsystem or the ion
It replaces one of the 'valves/banjo fittings in the airline internals in the Ion. Very cheap, easy and makes it way more efficient.

Completely agree with Pinki. It was actually part of my reason for getting the Ion - I sold my ir3 and with the money bought both a new Ion and a Reloader B and have never looked back. Feed it as fast as you can - you'll be amazed at the difference it makes.

The Violent Products trigger is amazing value at 18 beer vouchers. Mine came today, and with free postage, it represents fantastic value - great engineering, and SO easy to rip on

Agreed. Splashed out on a new reloader b today!

The Evo 2 stutters and does not feed at constant rate. Used it on my evolved impy, and Ion.

Stuck the reloader on the impy today, the rate of fire seems more constant, Set the speed to 2 and it ripped! (does anyone use the 3rd speed setting?)

Thats not to say the evo2 loader is bad, Ive had mine for 4 months with no issues at all. It just gets 2nd place due to the speed of the reloader b.

I must say though. The Reloader looks a B*stard to clean!

^^ What he said - essentially it's just a way of connecting the air hose to the body.

Dark Stranger, my bad experience of a Reloader B on speed 3 almost put me off getting one - it completely mashed paint in my Ion. Then I discovered it was on speed 3, and bought one and now all is well in garfsland.

The Reloader isn't really a ******* to clean any more than the Ion is. With practice, you quickly strip it and it's back together in no time. In fact it's really no worse than the egg.

Speaking of eggs, I think they still have their uses - they're a good back up and cheap and reliable - certainly better than having a revvy in the bag ;)

there dosent seem to be that many ions selling on the boards, they seem really popular. Im being tempted into an angel, is this a good thing? seeing ive never run one before and may have trouble with the operating side (ive heard they are high maintenance)
cheers, Matt
