Well it sounds like your air's getting starved somewhere but without being able to pick it up and play around with it I can't be sure.
My first test (being the easiest!) would be turning the LPR in another turn or so and see if that cures it.
The 'dial it back' a quarter of a turn works well on some LPRs but there are quite a few different types.
Other problems could be your inline reg needs a good clean and grease or possibley your air system is not providing good enough flow to feed the inline.
Had a similar problem presented to me at the last D7s, after doing the usual LPR/battery/inline thing it turned out to be that the on/off bottom line wasn't fully depressing the pin on the preset, so the inline wasn't getting enough air.
