Thats because of the lack of advertising the viking....c'mon, the makers of the matrix are much bigger than AKA. I personally dont like matricies, but like vikings. Pro teams will shoot whatever they are given.

ermm well there is Static AKA . . . who shoot purely AKA markers, Excaliburs, Vikings and Merlins.
As for why there isn't any sponsored AKA teams in the UK. . . AKA are still expanding purely on the demand of the products, this demand has mainly come from word of mouth not mass advertising. There also is no mass distributor for the Viking in the UK, so what do you expect??
AKA also are converting to producing markers rather than concentrating on custom products for other markers.
All I know is that personally I wouldn't swap my Viking for any other marker. .. well maybe an Excalibur
As for people wanting to customise there own Viking, products are slowly appearing, i.e. WAS Equaliser board (with eye), a No Rise for the Halo and other feed necks, Custom triggers and frames and AKA have just released upgraded Solenoids
Theres nothing really performance wise you can improve, built in LPR, low operating pressure although very efficient and extremely reliable.

Name one major, non-Draxxus team that shoots matrix exclusively? All the ones listed are sponsored by them, so you can't tell squat from that.
Sure, many teams have players with them, but it's because Draxxus has the largest number of teams so the then they'll have the largest number of teams shooting their gun.
Plus the "sponsorship" prices they are offering to just baout every man and his dog to shoot them mean many smaller team almost can't afford not to shoot them.

The other thing that 'bothers' me about them is as booga points out, Orings. Orings bed in after time and also wear out again over time, now maybe this period of time is so long that 'normal' maintenance and changing the orings are such that you'll never notice, IMO its a leak waiting to happen.
As for the how many teams using them thing, well just cos a product is better don't mean its popular, Macintosh anyone??

Aha - but they bought the guns while they were Diablo then I presume, I know the guys kept mentioning they were waiting for them last year.
And Severe figures with Jon - are a lot of Northern team switching now then?
Not really BEaker. Most are torn between Draxxxus and Severe, but all the best teams in the north are with Zap now. Not that I am biased or anything
The only problem I have had with my Trix, is the threads not accepting a Freak Stainless Stell back! Not very good really considering I have a whole freak kit waiting here to be used! Anyone else had this problem?
