I think he means it is disassembled from the marker rather than broken.

I can tell you that I paid just over 100squid to have my qloader 300 setup from the states, so a double 500 setup is going to be close on 200 by itself, excluding all the additional attachments and fixings he's shown in the photo.

From talking to Clifford in the past, I seriously doubt he's out to rip anyone off and his prices do seem fair to me.
