Hi snake---i'd say it's a medium, i'm a 40" chest and it's tight on me (though it's supposed to be) i'll be packing some stuff up tonight, so i';ll see if I can get some better pics of it....

if you're a 40" chest then it would be a L/XL Bounce vest i think. Damn, i was hoping it was a S/M 
And boldicus, a pack 3+2 is a Pod pack, meaning it has 3 slots for pods with the velcro harness to keep them in place, and the +2 means there is elastic loops in between which can also keep pods in if you need to carry extra.

Empire Top
Boldicus - i've dropped you a p/m Kneepads have gone pending payment, but i've offered a decent price on the pack and armpads posted.
The empire top - well i'm hardly a big guy - most of my kit is Medium or medium large - the guy that I bought this top off is a skinny runt TBH and it looked tight on him too - it is a lycra type material so that helps.
I got a bit caught up last night so couldn't do pics, but it's on my list tonight, and i'll try to do mesaurements as well.

Empire Top/Vest - more information...

.Right, here are some more pics of the Empire Top - It is definitely medium as per the label - inside arm length is 23"/ 59cm

It is a Lycra cling top, with padding under the forearms (kind of like a slide top really then, in the same way as slide shorts) - all the chequered hatching is "sticky" so holds a bottle in nice and tight, and there is "angel wing" padding down the back, which is where the bounce element comes from (there is no padding on them main front body..just lycra...Mmmmm!)
This top really is in perfect condition - looks as new aside from the finger holes cut into the sleeves (to hold the pads in place if you slide, i'm surprised this wasn't part of the actual manufacturing process, it makes sense!)
