Cool cheers guys, I guess it wasn't overly clear but you got what I meant

I've cut mine right off and they're hidden by the frame so I doubt there would be any probs, just had a paranoid moment

to do it properly you will need a pair of needle nose plier, flat nose pliers, and a flat heads screwdriver to completley remove evidence....there is a rivet holding the strap (or as i see it in your case - the remnants of) in place..
