Yet another one from the great paintball book of myths
Some say you shouldn't use a peak, but then they have no justification for saying so other than maybe their goggles don't look good with one on !
It's not "something else to get hit" as someone stated earlier........if a balls coming your way and you don't have a peak then it's just going to smack you in the forehead....DUH !
I use a peak to keep the sun out of my eyes, as my Oaklies don't fit to well underneath them and i can't be arsed to keep changing lenses. It also helps when it pisses down too. I'm using the JT Proteous and it works fine, my Dye's i don't use a peak on....it's just my preference.
So in answer to your question, do whatever you want to do. Don't be a fashion victim, if a peak works for you then go for it. if you find your getting hit or it's in the way then take it off, but do it for your own reasons.
Your the one that has to use your equipment, not the gobby know it all twat in the pits that you never actually see playing
