How it went down with the Kelly's
just got back now,we kicked arse on the first day with 5 straight wins, we did sh*t on the 2nd day with 1 win and 2 losses probably cus we knew we were thru anyway, in the quarters we won 2 of the games and drew the 3rd so that got us thru, in the semis we played instinct for to play Enemy for 1st/2nd and we won both games, so we were thru to the finals, and thats where it went pear shaped, right.....:-
The staff wont let us walk the finals field on the finals field cus we didnt have a pink wrist band and they only gave us the wrist band 5mins before we played so we were literally were saying "il got to this bunker and shoot this way etc etc".....,the first game we were ready and Enemy had not even taken there barrel socks off so the dude on the micro phone restarted the 10 second warning (without saying anything to us), as soon as Enemy had there barrels touching the gate and we didnt know cus we cudnt see them then suddenly "game on!" and we were stood in the open gettin shot and lost but we still managed to shoot 3 and we were bitchin to the guy on the micro phone and all said he said was "sorry it wont happen again" then i think this put our moral down a bit, then the 2nd game started properly we nearly actually nearly won the game cus we are kings of winging paintball but the damaged had bin done so Kellys 2nd place
Nothing to do with Enemy i think they are a better team than us anyhow but we would of give them a much harder game and probably win the 2nd like in Paris if we were allowed to walk the field plus ive just found out that Enemy set that field up pror to the tournament and has practised on it alot, but oh well, who ever posts up saying "you just cant take losing" should ask most of the UK ballers actually present at the event before you flame us, thats it, sorry its like an essay
