Have one night a week for late shopping, preferably a Friday, so people can get those last minute things they forgot for a tourney/big game/whatever the weekend coming.

Do a good price on consumables e.g. barrel swabs, pots, batteries, barrel condoms, fill nipple covers, lenses etc and make sure these are always in stock in decent varieties and quantities. I would always rather go to a shop where I knew I could get these essentials that everyone loses on a regular basis, so when I went to buy something more expensive I would know I could get all the little bits I needed at the same time.

It would be nice to consider an incentive if someone bought loads of stuff rather than list price across the board for everything, e.g. if someone gets full kit from scratch (gun, air system, gogs, clothing, pack, consumables etc) then throw in some pots, a couple of barrel condoms, fancy grips etc or maybe a discount on the list price.

1. personally I don’t just go to a store to browse, ill have something in mind. Upgrades for my marker (recently star frame, bolt) or paintballs usually along with general bits pots / fluffys etc with regards to online, i try to avoid it cos of postage mishaps, but will succomb to cheaper deals online or rarer bits of kit that i cant pick up locally.

2. as above

3. as above

4. I pay the going rate, or 2nd hand if I cant afford it new. as for paint i usually try and get a deal on 5 boxes or something and split it with people. bulk buying discounts are good.

5. travel costs, event costs (entry fees)

6. depends what you stock, brands etc

7. staff who give a **** about what you are after, and can give helpful recommendations and not just after your cash. unbiased advice helps too

8. hot women :D , computer games, video screens, reball zone to try out markers perhaps

9. price…even if you don’t need it if its cheap it'll get bought lol

10. as long as the directions are good it shouldn’t matter. Public transport not an issue as I drive.

I think planet pretty much sums up everything decent about a paintball shop
Knowledgeable staff, techs on site, genuine advice, (not just a sales pitch to get your cash) good deals when its sale time, good after support. Most the guys who work there play paintball too so know what they are talking about. Nice people with time to talk too..makes that £x00 on the credit card less painful for me anyway. plus open til half 6, a bonus

1. if you go online to a paintball store, what are you normally looking for (to buy?) Anything, a good deal usually

2. when you go into a shop are you after a particular peice of kit? clothing? i would be more likely to buy clothing from a shop, yes

3.if so what are you after in particular when you go instore? logo'd T shirts, hats, small stuff

4. on average how much do you pay for you kit (either when you go into a store, online or at an event, please specify what it is you normally do) I check out the going rate on the internet, and decide (taking urgency into account) how much buying it here and now is worth

5. apart from paintballs what are the other "main" costs (apart from expendables, fuel, etc etc) er? repairs once you've got your kit?

6. If you were to come into Dynamis painball (our store) what would you be looking for, ordering?) stuff that other paintball stores dont have, at good prices and the normal stuff

7. What would you ideall expect from a store, friendly helpful staff, air, maintanece staff? friendly and helpful definately,

8. what sort of things could be put in store to make your visit more enjoyable? helpful people, relaxed atmoshpere

9. What captures your attention regards buying items? a fancy banner? offers? price? please list

nice cool displays, i spose colour coodination would help, like playing gear all together

10. how would you best like a store to be? easy to find? ample parking? easy ascess? or perhaps within walking distance of a local city centre or public transport links? naah parking doesn't relaly matter, not too hard to find yes but it wouldn't have to be on a high street i dont think (do you think it would be worth the increased revenue for your business?)

hope that helps

good luck with the shop :)
