It depends on what year mate - TBH the most important park of the equipment you should be considering is your goggles ! find something that fits your face as every brand fits differently, Go to a local shop and try some on ! Dont compensate googles for something like a hopper........Bottle wish GI do a nice bottle but you wont find any 2nd hand yet but Guerilla bottles are great i had no problems with mine. Just as someone has a problem dont be put off look at how many they sell !

Agreed with above, get a good mask sorted first as if you can't see or it's uncomfortable then you won't have a good day paintballing. Next would get a rota as they are one of the best hoppers around and will last you ages. Bottle is up to you but a second hand carbon fibre one is always a good shout which can go to 4500psi. Just be aware of born and death dates. Most bottles last 15 years and need a test every 5 years (tests cost from £17.50 to £40 depending on where you go) as for regs I think ninja are one of the best around but when starting off etc any reg that works will be fine :)

What are you thinking of playing, woods or tourney? Either way For a newbie I would suggest a planet eclipse etek. Currently on etek 4 so you can pick the older models up pretty cheap, for example i just sold an etek 3 for 200, bar a few differences they are almost an ego and really simple for you to maintain yourself..

You can pick up some good deals on eteks and the etek4 are a very nice marker - Get yourself a bottle with a few years test left and hopper wise its your call
Dye Rotor - £80-95
Virtue Spire - £100+
Prophecy - £50+

All 3 will do you well everyone will have there own preferences so take it all with a pinch of salt - you tube videos on any hopper and go with what you want mate,
