Matrix seems like a good idea. cockers are good. angels are good.

They are all good, maybe even extreme e mag with warp feed.

Whats your budget mole and are you looking to buy brand new or second hand?

How about an Impulse Vision? Whole package including air system & 68cu bottle is £750 + vat, which looks like it's within your budget.

ok Jay

Hey Richard,
Stop saying those things about being way out of your knowledge and things. You give good advice dude, and you're always helpfull to the new guys. This board needs more people like you.
Thanks Jay that's really cheered me up :) .

Its official, I know what I'm talking about :D all I was saying was that I don't know anything about upgrading shockers or about electros at all.

Anyways, Mole Ravi gave this piece of advice in his Cocker Upgrade article in this weeks excellent PGI (hint freestuff hint) that before you upgrade you should decide what you are upgrading (or if you just want more shiney things...)

Good luck finding the marker for you

Richard

Heres my 2 cents worth.....

I have played a back role with pretty much all the markers mentioned here and have to say they all perform well, the Matrix (current marker) is excellent and shoots very similar to a cocker but a lot faster. Loved my Shocker when I had one and the Impulse is also a great marker (especially considering the price). I think you need to find a marker and setup (bottle/drop-forward/cradle) that feels as comforatble as possible for you. Just remember that if you are playing 7 (or even 10 now) man you might need to be able to shoot more than 7 pots plus a hopper in a single game - think about that when selecting bottle size.
I run Matrix, 1.5l 4500psi airsystem and find this works fine for me.
Take Charlies advice and try out as many different types of markers as possible b4 deciding.

How did the temple go?

similar choice i had to make then again i play front and already had a 1.1 4500 maxflow.

i thought the matrix was better then the eclipse cockers several people have lent me even tho i thought the snappy trigger on the eclipse was outstanding very nice to shoot.

ascutt has your Matrix been CNC a dark blue/grey colour with i think image curved in the side:confused:
