Mate, I know a lot of guns are better than angels, but it's how I feel it's at! what you think I do when I go to a tournament? ask JnR1981 he knows, me...play? you're joking I just walk upto random people and say "can I have a go?" lol, angels are my favourite, simple, reliable, and quick :) all the things I need, and they're moderately accurate when at a low bps rate ;)

Luke.
the thing that amuses me is that kids like these slag off companys and a year down the line go asking these companys with arm wide open asking for sponsorship with nothing in return

stop following the crowd luke, u'll end up shooting ureself in the foot ;)

A great part of the value of a product in this industry is the customer service that comes with it. I think 'size 6 feet's' experience speaks for itself.

Quality and cost come hand in hand, and when sp are producing Ions for such a low price tag; there evidently isnt much left over to spend on 'after-sales care'..especially when you take into account all those overheads, failed lawsuit embarrassments etc. Therefore longer-term; the customer ends up spending more than they thought they would.

In all fairness, I don't think that the Ion was initially targeted at hardcore seasoned all out ballers such as yourselves..so little surprise it needs extra care;)

And this clearly isn't a warranty issue bud..

You buy a new car, you leave the lights on, you don't realise you left the lights on..you kill the battery. The car wont start..you take it to garage, the garage charge the battery and charge you for their time....you claim it under warranty and they laugh in your face.

If the marker has been set low, or you've got a dead battery, a warranty don't count for nowt, it's a software, or peripherals issue. Now, If the solenoid blew after 300 shots, they'd fix it under warranty...that's what warranties are for.....and even then they don't count for man hours (usually).....how the hell would Gun-techs get paid otherwise bud?

If you had any of those problems with a brand new gun from WDP or Planet, and you had bought the gun less than 6 months ago, they would fix it for free, both parts and labour.

Techs have plenty of guns that are out of warranty to keep them busy...

Because they have sold the gun in such high volume, smartypants simply cant get away with fixing all the problems that arrise due to having such a low quality product.
It would bankrupt them, so instead the customer has to foot the bill.

Out of interest,
what was wrong with the battery ?
