Marker upgrade

Hopefully this doesnt start into a " Eteks suck, shockers rule or visa versa thread " but im after a little advice, i know alot of you will say go shoot them 1st before you decide but in my case thats not possible so im going to take the jump and chose one without shooting it, stupid ? maybe but u only live once. I have roughly £450 to spend on a marker what would you say to buy ? upgrading from an ion ( don't start, its a cracking little marker but ive outgrown it )

etek - awsome marker for the price...better than ego 6

shocker sft (03-06) - awsome. and are going very cheap in the classifieds

shocker nxt (07) - again awsome, has a couple of nice features over the sft but not really worth the coin over an sft unless going for a private label

dm/pm series - i dont like them, all i can say really same with angels

cyborgs - if you can find one get one....sheer awsome, and best efficiency out of the box (about 2k shots from a 1.1 4500 fill)

if you can wait a bit and get some more cash id suggest an ego7.....best marker ive ever used

you might be able to get your hands on an Angel 1 which are sweet as a nut to shoot, but some people dont like the 3 tube design of them.

could get yourself a new etek and some money left for a cure bolt or whatever.

or maybe go for a shocker NXT and with quite a bit of change for upgrading it.

Invert mini? Ours shoot great, all the modes you want, and very light.

how much are shocker NXTS though, looked on smartparts store was like £426 + VAT !!

As for mini, wasnt there problems with them that had to be recalled ? something along those lines.

you could probably get a NXT shocker for around £300 second hand with some ups already

get an etek. you will never need another marker. the best of the bunch in that price range.

After something new ideally, is the thread with all the paintball shops on still alive ? i just ran a search on the forum and couldn't find it, i only mainly shop @ planet and fatbobs i remember there being loads of shops though.

DM/PM's shoot the same, so which one you get goes on looks, just make sure which ever one you get, you get the UL frame for it. Once you've had UL frame, everything else feels huge, personally they are the nicest(sp?) shooting markers out there.
