You can't put the emortal board into the LT without replacing the grip frame. Not that it matters - all any marker needs to do is be able to fire millenium 10.5bps and not be too heavy. Your Etek 3 will do whatever you need any gain from a new marker will be so small as to be irrelevant when compared to spending to money on training....

A computer analogy then!
Modern tourny rules cap marker performance well below what they're capable of. Whilst you might want to spend a fortune on a PC to game or edit video, if you're just word processing, they'll pretty much all do the job....

Like Kevin said all the marker needs to do is shoot to millennium rules 10.5bps and not be to heavy u don't need to upgrade the board and everything it will do nothing different that will help you in a tournament scenario.... probably the only upgrade i would suggest on ur etek would be a better barrel but having said tht the stock ones aren't to shabby either! Planet eclipse made the etek range with the average paintball player in mind it does exactly the same vital things (board settings, Weight) as the high end markers your ego's and Geo's and they will quite confortably keep up with them at a reasonable and affordable price :)
