Unfortunately there's a lot of tw@s out there who will actually pay that much just so they can have the latest 'shiny' thing out. It's a ****e mentality to have IMO. Go buy some paint and train

Its quite simple really.
If you dont want it then dont buy it.
No one is forcing anyone to spend £1200 on a new marker.

Average marker prices are lower than they ever have been and there is a far greater choice for players at every level and for every type of player, whether it be a Scenario baller or a Tournament player.

You can fly Economy, or you can fly First Class.
The choice is yours my friend.

There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING you pay for that only costs as much as production. Far more goes into a gun than just milling some metal to look pretty and making sure o-rings fit. Workers must be paid, mills must be taken up, materials must be bought, and in the end companies must make a profit.
And besides....prices have only been going down. Just recently Dye dropped the cost of a DM6 to less than $1200, and SP dropped the Shocker to $600.

This is no new thing.
When Angels first came out they were around the £1000 mark or more back then.

To justify not only the price of manufacture, and also the cost of the machinery bought, 5 axis cnc mills and all that; the markers need to be priced highly enough to not only make even but also to make enough of a profit to make it all worthwhile.
The profits are not all that enormous, when you factor in everything.

Look at the quality of what you're getting- very good.

When the sport is more mainstream markers might become cheaper.
But until then, or until you buy your own company & manage to manufacture markers to a level half as good as the ego or angels, and manage to sell them for cheaper and keep up the quality, and manage to make enough profits to keep in business, then shush.

i don't think marker prices have increased that much. hunt out som e old pgi's and see what the prices were back in the day.

at least now you get more for your money.

look at the ion and the like, £140 is the cheapest i have seen them new. a few years back an inferno was that price...................
