'MAN United stars had a blast yesterday as they attacked Sun photographers with smoke bombs and paintball guns.'

Great pic of the team messing around with smoke grenades, lucky there wasn't an accident, i know from experience the new Enola Gaye smokes have a tendancy to literally explode. (i can't quite make out who it is, but the guy in the center of the pic about to throw a smoke has it pointed at the person behind him!)

QUOTE FROM ENOLA GAYE:

Enola Gaye products are classified in the UK under strict government regulations at 1.4G explosive content. Therefore under no circumstances should they be sold to or be used by anyone under the age of 18. Enola Gaye has by design made these products as safe as possible, however in no way are they foolproof or can we guarantee that you will not hurt yourself. Read the instructions before use and don’t mess around with them. Do not put them in your pockets. Do not throw them at people. Do not sell or use them outside of supervised arenas. Do not go back to unexploded MK5’s or Grenades.

As with any paintball or airsoft/BB games, goggles should be worn whilst participating in these activities. Enola Gaye products are designed for use on paintball and airsoft sites and for use in re-enactments; therefore it is the responsibility of the site operator retailing Enola Gaye products to ensure that they do not leave the site. For every intelligent person on this planet there is an idiot. If you suspect that the person in front of you is an idiot, do not sell him/her these products.

GENERAL SMOKE SAFTEY AWARENESS
The Enola Gaye Smoke Grenade is a classified explosive and as such cannot be legally sold to or used by any person under the age of 18 years.

There are hazards associated with the use of these devises as with a firework or similar item, some hazards are obvious, others not so.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SITE OWNER TO ENSURE THAT THE ENVIRONMENT AND MANNER IN WHICH THESE PRODUCTS ARE BEING USED IS COMPLETELY SUITABLE AND SAFE.

The following is a list of conditions on which the Enola Gaye Smoke Product is supplied; persons buying and using these devises are required to read.

Any site operator not agreeing to these conditioned will not be supplied.

Any pyrotechnic device generates heat beyond the ignition temperature of every day rubbish i.e. paper, dried vegetation etc. The Enola Gaye Smoke Product units contain the majority of the heat within the casing of the devise during normal operation, however, at the beginning and the end of functioning it is likely that the device will produce some flame, incandescent emissions or a quantity of very hot gas, failure to use the devise properly may result in rupturing of the casing/closures and similar problems.

The term "cold burn" is relative, the smoke grenade may be cooler than the average firework during normal use but this does not in any way imply that the device does not generate heat that may be hazardous to its immediate surroundings.

Because of this the devise must not be used in close proximity (5 metres minimum) to any person or any combustible material.

This safety zone is recommended for guidance only; it is the ultimate responsibility of the site owner to determine the suitability of his/her site for use.

The smoke produced by the devises presents potential hazards in that it has a staining effect on surrounding surfaces and that as with any smoke, concentrations should be kept to a minimum.

The smoke should only be used in the open and never indoors.

Persons suffering from any breathing difficulties should not be exposed to any levels of smoke concentration.

The smoke devises retain heat after they have finished burning, for this reason the use of the devises should be carefully supervised by stewards / marshals who are fully familiar with the safe use of pyrotechnics.

Each site should ensure that unused devises should NOT be taken away from the site by the customer.

Who can buy products?
Enola Gaye products sales are governed the following rules:

1.Not to be sold to or purchased for under 18 year olds.
2.Not to be used buy under 18 year olds.
3.Not to be used in public.
4.Only to be used under supervised conditions.
5.Not to be used indoors.
6.Goggles to be worn whilst using products.
7.Only to be retailed to the public on Paintball or BB sites.
8.DO NOT THROW AT PEOPLE
9.DO NOT HOLD IN HAND

Honestly, I know DF aren't exactly well received on these boards but it seems like some of you lot will pounce upon some really asinine points to put them down. The way the Sun describes it makes it sound like a really good time, and even says that the paintball didnt hurt that much, and an exciting photo of famous blokes having fun with smokebombs will probably attract more people to paintball than some pictures of masked "famous blokes" in some woods.
