I was in charge on Chrono'ing on the M5 field, Saturday & Sunday.
Yes, we had markers that were not set up right, and also some were over the 300 fps mark, but I told the players to set about 280 fps, with the heat, and the fpswill creep up - and it did. Everytime the players came to play, they got Chrono'd.
We had a team, who just wanted to play in their Proto vests, i sent em back to get their playing tops on - it is in the rules - you must wear a long sleeve top.
I watched quite a few games, on the M5 field, i watched ALL the games on Friday, on the Div 2 field, as I was score keeper, and in charge of the timers etc. Div 2 play was excellent, and yes, SO WAS M5 !
Quality of play varied - but the UK teams, from what I saw, were performing to a high standard, along with the Germans, Portuguese and Spanish, amongst others.
There was a 'spait' of hot markers, well run-away guns, that I kicked, but they were quickly sorted, so I don't believe that the play was Div 2 UK Masters level. Jordan quoted on another thread, that he had never even reffed a domestic event before, and that started a load of comments, on here, I think he needs to engage his "young" brain, before typing stuff, for people to see.
All in all, Malaga was a fantastic event, roll on Basildon
