So the magna hopper doesn't come fitted as standard with the rf transmitter and cables/board etc....

I have seen it advertised as "rf ready" so presumed it had all the rf stuff as standard out of the box

Its the same as having a TV thats labeled 'HD Ready', still means you gotta buy the Xbox 360 to use that feature

The RF mode is not really needed, its mainly there if you cant rely on the sound mode

The RF receiver is already fitted to the board in the Magna Loader, but you need the transmitter for your marker. They dont ship it as standard as it also works on sound, so you can use that feature out of the box and upgrade if required.

Has anyone found it Quite back heavy and in your face too much, like hanging over the back of the marker?

As i said in the previous post, it is a bit long at the back of the marker. If you play with your nose glued to the back of your bolt you are gonna find issues. I suppose its about the same as an Eggy.
At the end of the day all they have done is move the feedneck to the front, the battery pack to the back and added an RF and magnetic clutch system. Apart from that its a Reloader B
