mate the gun wont set on fire!!! unless you douse it in petrol....
just melt away the 'rubbery' substance on the elbow and then twist as hard as u can, if u cant do it ask you dad or something but it will come off u just need to give it some elbow grease

Here's the best bit of advice yet
a) take the macroline out of the fittings
b) remove the on/off from the end of the drop
c) unscrew the drop from the grip frame
d) discard drop in an environmentally responsible manner
e) refit on/off to bottom if grip frame, use a small rail if needed
f) refit macroline to fittings
Job done!
The above sequence will vastly improve your stance and shooting platform while stopping you from looking like a c**t every time you pick up your Ion to fan the trigger while serving tea!

man...you dont need a 1.9 on a ion ( or any other marker for that matter) 1.9s are better for back packs and not running/tucking behind bunkerstry to get hold of a 1.1 fibre wrap ( 4500 preferred ) and then re-address the drop forward as the weight ratio will change again..personly i would lose the drop and go for something a little bit smaller ( about a 2" and not the 4") but thats just me
your problem has started with the 1.9 bottle...look in that direction first.
..of course people will disagree with my thoghts but as i said ( my opinion )

and this bottle was brand new £60
and i can hold it fine without the drop but i thought for a tighter hold i could get a drop
if i cant get the 90 degree off ill take off the drop
also 1.9ltr 3000psi is the size i need for me to play
since my site doesnt do air fills
i needed a tank that can last a long time
and this was more shots and halof the price than a 1.1ltr 4500psi
i just wanna know how tot take the 90 angle off
