If it helps you can bend the hose carefully over a steaming kettle, to stop it kinking bend it round a piece of plastic waste pipe, remember you have to bend it more than you need to get the required curve.

Ok, I kinda had the same problem with my Impy when I bought a new drop forward meaning my current hose was way too long, anyways....

After buying a foot of hose and cutting it to about the length I needed, I put the hose into a bowl on boiling water and after about 10min I was able to bend it into the right shape and fit it to my Impy forgrip and max flow so that when it cooled down it was the righ shape, my hose from a side now looks like an "S" shape, would post pic's but not digi cam :(

The guy who sorted mine for me does all his and others guns in that way and have had no problems whatsoever, obviously the line is not heated so to as the plastic bubbles or anything such as that! just gently and subtly, :)

I agree, heating high pressure tubes with a lighter is "iffy".
These tubes are operating at their max limit, it doesn't pay to weaken them.
